GTO and GTX are a pair of vintage style 'character' compressors, designed like their muscle car name-sakes for brute power, pure speed and to make a loud noise. They have everything you’d expect in a thorough-bred compressor, but are tuned for maximum control and ease of use, each with their own unique vintage colouring on top.
sidearm is a very flexible compressor with many options to tweak the sidechain signal for very precise control. It can perform downwards, upwards and parallel compression and limiting, in peak or RMS flavours and with lookahead if you want it. But the sidechain control is where sidearm really gets to business, bringing a level of control that will allow you to define exactly when the compressor kicks in, by isolating specific frequencies, stereo positions and volume levels in the sidechain.
truc2 is a multi-effect plug-in with 4 different effect modules and two automated XY pads to modulate their levels and parameters. It is designed to add variation and movement, anywhere along the scale of subtle to overkill and is suitable for any material
sixtyfive is a vintage-style, RMS Compressor, inspired by the dbx® 165A, a classic 1970's compressor found in many studios, but it also adds a couple of new twists. It's a soft-knee RMS compressor with a vintage flavour. The RMS detection and soft-knee help to give a smooth and musical compression experience, the non-linear response imparts character and the gentle saturation brings colour and warmth.
QB3 is a vintage-style, 3-band EQ plug-in, with its own unique colouring and a few tricks up its sleeve. For each band you can adjust the centre frequency and gain. For the low and high shelving bands you can adjust the steepness of the slope, whilst for the mid peaking band you can adjust the bandwidth. This allows a range of sounds from steep, sharp cuts to smooth and gentle boosts.
Urban Decay is a multi-band distortion effect, with 13 different flavours of dirt across 3 perfectly split frequency bands At the heart of it are 7 different distortion types, each designed to bring a different way to dirty up your audio, and together form a powerful combination. 3 of the distortion methods also have 3 algorithms each, allowing more tweaking to get the filth quota just right
bathtub is more than just a simple compressor. It does multi-band compression, multi-layer parallel compression, series compression, mid/side compression, Left/Right compression, RMS/Peak detection, side-chaining, look-ahead, limiting & maximizing and has comprehensive metering and clip counting.
thr33some is a multi-band stereo tool, to allow you to widen or narrow specific frequencies in your mix. Typical use would be to make bass sounds mono whilst progressively spreading higher frequencies, but abuse and experimentation will yield some interesting effects too. Thr33some has 2 methods of stereo spread and with gain and pan per band you have total control over all 3 bands.
dirtbox is an effect plug-in designed to compress, distort and modulate your audio into a whole new filthy world, from subtle warmth to dynamic destruction. It’s arsenal of dirty bombs cover parallel compression, many flavours of dirt and filth, bit crushing, sample rate dropping and ring modulation. Add to that a 4 way XY pad and 2 tempo-sync LFOs and you can modulate up to 6 parameters to really throw that filth around the place. Time to get dirrrrrrrrrrty…
Octav8r is a 7-node pitch-shifter that generates 6 differently pitched stereo versions of the audio input added to a ‘dry’ non-shifted signal to generate a richly layered sound. Each node has its own volume envelope and variable state filter plus send controls to vibrato, chorus, delay and reverb effects. The envelopes can be triggered by midi, audio gate or looped in sync with the host tempo.
unstable likes to mess around with your audio pitch, with 3 subtle pitch modulation modes to simulate the unpredictable but lovable pitch instability of an old tape machine or an analogue synth.
pitchfork is a 3 band pitch shifter / modulator, covering everything from subtle doubling to total pitch destruction. Each band can be shifted in pitch and has its own tempo sync LFO for modulation madness or subtle wandering. You can split the bands into low, mid and high ranges, or leave all 3 as full spectrum bands to double or treble up the original audio
