Software I Created Through My Computer

When I was first put in charge of a huge project at work, I was ecstatic as it would be a good chance for me to show off my abilities; possibly get a promotion. But then I was asked to do a computer software project timeline and submit it within 48 hours; which flummoxed me. While I had heard of these things, I had never made one myself and didn’t precisely know how they were supposed to be done. Therefore, I was worried about the short time frame.

Finally I came close to panicking and running around the office. Screaming and flailing my arms about. But I came to my senses. Realizing that there must be someone who could help me with this problem. I did not want to ask anyone on my team for help; since I was supposed to be in charge. Hence, I didn’t want to show any languages before we had even gotten started.

I didn’t want to waste all my time on pointless software

I was perfectly aware that there was really wonderful project timeline software out there; that would reduce the time I spent on the timeline. Which would also allow me to focus on the larger task of the project itself. My only issue was that while I had certainly heard about this kind of software. However, I was not clear on who made or distributed this software.

Figuring that I ought to just hop on my computer and do a search on the web; to try to find the kind of freeware I needed. I discovered that this search was much easier than I had thought. Within minutes, I found an awesome website that sold the software I wanted. I had actually already gotten the approval to buy the software if it were within a specific budget range. So I got the download and installation started straight away.

This software was actually less costly than I had thought it would be; so I was able also to download some Gantt Chart software; which I knew would be fantastic for our company as well. Once these two programs were installed, I was able to get started on the timeline and the Gantt Chart and got them done in record time, wowing not only the people on my team but the folks higher up in the company, who were pleased with my initiative as well as the fact that I had found an affordable software.

I was assigned to work as a team member on different software projects

I always thought it was nice when the team leader would provide us with a project timeline to refer to. Eventually, I was assigned as a team leader. It would be my job to create the timeline; so I figured I needed to get some project timeline software. The reason for this was that when I was put in charge of the group; I was told that the group leader had to make the timeline. It usually took quite a while to get it right.

Determined I was, I asked a friend of mine who worked in a similar position in another company. The question I asked was if he has ever done a project timeline. And if he maybe has some tips on how to do one. He found it amusing how stressed I was about it and he assured me that it was very easy as long as I had the right software to get the job done.

When I told him some of my concerns about the software

He told me that he would be glad to go over it with me, and we went back to his office so that he could show me some software that he swore would allow anyone to put together a timeline in no time at all. He also showed me an awesome website that offered this software at very sensible prices. Then I decided that if it were as good as it said; I would have to get my company to invest in this software.

In the meantime, my friend lets me use his personal computer; where he had the same software installed so I could finish way before the deadline; which I knew would impress those who were higher up in my company. While I was perusing through the various functions of the software; I also added a project art template that was a step above and beyond what I was required to do but would make me look even better as well as being useful to the project team members. Both the timeline and the template were extremely well received and our project got off to a fantastic and memorable start!
